Anche quest’anno, come da tradizione, il giorno prima della cerimonia degli Oscar sono stati premiati i peggiori film dell’anno appena passato con i Razzie Awards, premio assegnato dalla The Golden Raspberry Award Foundation.

A trionfare, si fa per dire, è stato Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party, documentario politico sulla storia del Partito Democratico e sulla candidata alle presidenziali 2016 Hillary Clinton, diretto da Dinesh D’Souza e Bruce Schooley. Quattro i Razzie che si è aggiudicato, tra cui peggior film e peggior regia.

Anche Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice non se l’è cavata male:  peggior sceneggiatura, peggior sequel e peggior duo al cinema.

La Golden Raspberry Award Foundation, ha inoltre ritenuto opportuno consegnare a Mel Gibson il Razzie delle “redenzione” per il suo ritorno trionfante a Hollywood con La battaglia di Hacksaw Ridge.

A ventiquattr’ore dalla consegna degli Oscar, così come vuole la tradizione, sono stati annunciati i vincitori dei Razzie Awards, i premi assegnati dalla The Golden Raspberry Award Foundation, che celebra i peggiori film dell’anno appena trascorso.

A trionfare è stato Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas (che da noi non è ancora uscito), definito dalla critica uno dei peggiori film del 2014. Il premio come peggiore attrice è andato a Cameron Diaz (Sex Tape e The Other Woman), mentre Megan Fox è stata premiata come peggiore attrice non protagonista per Tartarughe Ninja. Anche Michael Bay non è rimasto a bocca asciutta e ha ricevuto il Razzie come peggior regista, per Transformers 4.

A vincere nella nuova categoria del “Razzie Redeemer Award”, che riconosce che i nominati e i vincitori del passato possono andare avanti e fare film molto migliori dei precedenti, è stato Ben Affleck, grazie ad Argo e Gone Girl.

Come vuole la tradizione, a 24 ore dall’annuncio delle nomination degli Academy Awards sono arrivate le nomination del premio assegnato dalla The Golden Raspberry Award Foundation, ovvero il Razzie, che celebra i peggiori film dell’anno appena concluso. Transformers 4: L’era dell’estinzione regna sovrano con 7 candidature: Peggior film, Peggior attrice non protagonista (Nicola Peltz), Peggior attore non protagonista (Kelsey Grammer), Peggior sceneggiatura, Peggior regista, Peggior duo sullo schermo (sia tra robot sia tra attori in carne e ossa).

Da questa edizione del premio, inoltre, è stata introdotta una nuova categoria, quella del riscatto, che include i nomi di chi in passato ha vinto o si è aggiudicato varie nomination e ora si è rifatto agli occhi di critica e pubblico.

I Razzie Awards 2015 si svolgeranno il 21 febbraio, la notte prima degli Oscar, al Montalban Theatre di Hollywood. Le nomination:
